More about the release

Engaging notions of transparency and opacity in the contexts of both race and technology, this zine presents a new way of thinking about the promises and pitfalls of artmaking for digital and social change. The work asks whether it is possible to adhere to a model that, instead of falling prey to the cat-and-mouse dynamic of Big Tech and its extractive systems, takes advantage of duration, time, and conformity to its own advantages.

Written and designed by Roopa Vasudevan. Risograph printed by Risolve Studio (Lancaster, PA) in sunflower, scarlet, and blue inks. 32 pages, first edition of 100.
